The Kubota Philippines Inc. (KPI) and Agrimach CG Corporation showcased sophisticated agricultural machinery for Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering students (BSABE) last May 21-22 at the Kubota-Saka Agritalk Seminar 2024.
Held at various venues at Central Philippines State University Main Campus, the talk was organized for 4th year BSABE students, the highlight of which is the field demonstration of several of Kubotaโs machines namely, rice harvester, walk-behind rice transplanter, ride-on type rice transplanter, and agricultural tractor on the eventโs second day.
An opening ceremony marked the start of the two-day event, followed by the presentation of Kubotaโs products by the companyโs engineers; apart from the field demonstration, BSABE students were given the opportunity to try the different machinery being showcased.
The activities for both first and second day schedules of Kubota-Saka Agritalk seminar were preceded by discussions about the must-know about the machines and necessary safety measures, followed by assessments for the students to gauge what they learned from the experiences.
Agrimach President and Managing Director Engr. Rommel M. Cajulao and KPI Senior National Sales Manager Engr. Deonilo M. Daduya shared their professional experiences in their respective messagesโmotivating students to pursue their passions.
CPSU President Dr. Aladino C. Moraca and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Fernando D. Abello also challenged the students to pursue scientific endeavors to contribute to the country by relevant technologies that could address the challenges that the nation faces and could empower communities.
